Sunday 11 May is Mother's Day, and this year we're baking whole lemon tarts to mark the occasion.
A sharp, silken lemon custard is set in a sweet, buttery pastry case. Each tart measures 20cm across – enough for 4 to 6 people – and comes with a jar of clotted cream to spoon alongside.
