With apple season well and truly underway, we’re admiring the different ways this humble fruit is enjoyed. From the braised organic Bramleys in our apple pie to the 69 apple varieties found in some cuvées of Normandy cider, there’s an abundance of ways to enjoy apples at Morning Market.
It’s in the French Normandy region where a climate primed for apple growing has led to exceptional skills in the fermenting and brewing of apple juice. High in sugar and acid, apple juice provides a wonderful base making flavourful ferments and distillations like cider, vinegar and Calvados.
